    Common Journal Citation Mistakes

    • Wrong quotation marks: Article titles use quotation marks, journal names are italicized
    • Missing volume/issue info: Include both volume and issue numbers when available
    • Incorrect date format: Use season or month for journals, not just year
    • Missing DOI: Always include DOI when available
    • Wrong page format: Use continuous page ranges (245-267, not 245-67)
    • Database confusion: Include database name only when no DOI is available
